Ministry of Education Begins Construction of 10 New Schools in Paktia Province

KABUL(BNA): In a significant step towards improving educational infrastructure, the Ministry of Education has announced the commencement of construction work for 10 new schools in Paktia province.

According to a press release from the Ministry, these schools will be built in coordination with an educational aid organization across nine districts in Paktia, with a total construction cost of 196 million Afghanis.

The groundbreaking ceremony for these projects was attended by various dignitaries, including Mawlawi Abdul Qayum Farooqi, the head and district directors of education, Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin, the deputy governor, as well as several scholars and teachers from Paktia.

During the ceremony, officials emphasized the importance of education and assured that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan fully supports the Ministry of Education’s efforts to provide balanced and extensive educational services throughout the country.
