Kabul (BNA) The Committee on Laws with second Vice President Sarwar Danesh on the chair held meeting yesterday and discussed the draft law on the control of goods and strategic services, BNA reported.
Speaking in the meeting, the vice president stressed for respecting conventions, protocols, international resolutions and their reflection to the law of the land, saying the drafted law includes matters relating recognition of chemical, biological and atomic weapons which clarifies the prevention, import, export and transit formations of the said weapons.
The objective of the draft law, he said is to monitor the production, export and transit of the said objects, should be for peaceful purposes. Members of the committee after discussion and reviewing the draft law presented their suggestions to the same
According to another report, second vice president Sarwar Danesh also has paid tribute to the martyrs of the security forces organs and said that the real heroes of the country are the martyrs of the land. He made the remarks after conferring medals to the families of Commander Mohammad and Mohammad Ibrahim the personnel of national army who were martyred by terrorists several months ago in Wardak and Helmand provinces months ago.
