Kabul (BNA) A spokesperson for Independent Elections Commission (IEC) has said primary election results would be soon announced.
Speaking in a news conference held yesterday, the IEC spokesman Noor Mohammad Noor said, “The commission has made efforts to soon declare primary results of presidential elections, adding there are issues for which Independent Elections Commission and Electoral Complaints Commission are working together, but in some cases as Herat, ECC can decide based on the elections law.”
He further said review on recounting ballots was continuing, but the process would take time.
In the news conference, Noor said all voting papers of provincial council also reached to central office of the commission.
