Weapons Handed Over To DIAG Program In Baghlan

Kabul (BNA) An amount of ammunitions and weapons were handed over to weapons collection commission of Baghlan province.
Col. Abdul Rashid Bashir security chief and caretaker of police headquarters of Baghlan told BNA, the weapons are included 16 various and 3.5 tons of different kinds of ammunitions.
The Source added, weapons and ammunitions were seized during several operations conducted by security forces from different parts of Baghlan province and handed over to weapons colleting commission.
According to the source, ten persons have been detained by police forces in connection of the case.
Col. Gul Lala representative of defense ministry of Baghlan in arms collecting commission says, during the current year this is the third time that Baghlan security forces handed over the weapons and ammunitions to the commission.
