Three Retaining Walls Constructed in Faryab

MAIMANA CITY (BNA) The construction work of three retaining walls has been completed and put into exploitation in northern Faryab province.
Azizullah Osmani director of rural rehabilitation and development department of Faryab told BNA correspondent, the retaining walls has been built with a cost of over one million Afghanis by financial assistance of Germany (GIZ) at the length of one km and height of 3.5 meters in Aq Masjed region Pashoon Koot district and Karwan Basti and Hemat Abad regions Maimana city the provincial capital of Faryab province.
Deputy of provincial council in Faryab says, before that floods have caused heavy losses to residents of the regions.
With a sum of 6 million Afghanis the digging work of 30 wells ongoing in Almar district, Faryab province, Osmani added.
