Mobile Health Teams Dispatched in Nangarhar 

JALALABAD (BNA) 6 mobile health teams have been dispatched to some floods affected sites to assist those who suffered in recent flash floods, said health officials.

Shairzad, Hesarak, and Pachar Wagan are those districts that have faced many difficulties receiving health services.

The provincial public health officials said in Nangarhar, 6 mobile health teams have been dispatched to reach out to provide health services in remote sites of the province.

Dr. Amir Mohammad Aftab director of the public health department of Nangahar said their teams are busy providing medical services to the people in remote areas in the province of Nangahar.

Dr. Marwise Abid in the east of the country said, that in Afghanistan particularly in Nangarhar the children are more affected by malnutrition disease.

Meanwhile, he asked mobile health teams to pay more attention to children with malnutrition.

Meanwhile, on Saturday in Maidan Wardak province the Ministry of Public Health with financial support from UNICEF dispatched 7 mobile health teams to reach helping out people who suffered recent flash floods.
