Special Force; Afghanistan’s Honor, President Ghani

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan paid a visit to various wards of special force yesterday.
During his visit, President Ghani in his speech while praying to the souls of martyrs of security and defense forces who have sacrificed their life for maintaining security and safeguarding of the people’s life said he had instructed relevant organs to form a special group from the country’s three security and defending organs to monthly investigate martyrs’ families and deliver its report to presidential office. Praising special units’ forces for successfully executing operations in the country, President Ghani said, “By blessing and alertness of you and all personnel of the country’s security and defending forces, our people sleep calmly.” In 262 operations launched by personnel of Special Forces units in the country, no civilian casualties has been reported except injuring only a child, which is full of hope and great success, added President Ghani. The country’s President while considering Afghan Special Forces units as honor of Afghanistan praised 16 female personnel of the units for faithfully defending their people. Addressing female personnel serving in the country’s Special Forces’, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said, “On behalf of your president as the armed forces’ chief commander, appreciate your families who have chosen you as main part of defending Afghanistan.”
