ASADABAD CITY (BNA) At least six foreign insurgents were killed during air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in eastern Kunar province late on Friday.
The insurgents have been targeted and killed inside their hideout by Afghan air forces.
Top commander of Afghan security personnel in a telephonic contact with BNA reporter confirmed the killing of six foreign rebels said, the terrorists recently have entered from Pakistan to Kunar province to carry out a series of terrorist and destructive activities.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and confiscating 11 round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Kunar province.
No one was arrested accused of the foiled mine plantings so far.
