Iranian Deputy Ambassador To Kabul Was Called To The Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Kabul (BNA) Sayed Saeed Saeedain, Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Kabul was called yesterday to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 
Mr. Majnoon Gulab, Director of the 2nd Political Dept. of the Ministry presenting a note verbal to him expressed the strong concern of the Afghan Government over the recent reports about the killing of 13 Afghan Citizens by the Iranian border police.
According to BNA report “recently various sources have informed that13 Afghan Citizens, who crossed the Islam-Qala Border to Hajji Abad-Tayebaad intending to migrate to Iran to work and make their families’ living, were martyred by the Iranian border forces inside the country’s territory on August 24, 2012. 
In addition to that 10 others were martyred and buried in the same region on August 26, 2012.
The source called upon the Iranian Embassy to promptly produce detailed explanation on the matter to this Ministry.
Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran pledged to share the matter with the respective embassy and provide details in that regard to the Ministry.
