Peace Talks With Mullah Rassoul Led Group Help Security Restore In Afghanistan

Tuesday November 29, 2016

Kabul (BNA) High Peace Council has said that peace negotiations with the Mullah Rassoul led opposition group would be started, after removal of sanctions by the UN on the Hezb-e-Islami Hekmatyar.
Mullah Hiabatull’s group has also showed readiness for joining peace process, by sending a three member delegation from Doha of Qatar to Islamabad, the fate is not still clear. Rassoul’s split group blamed Haibatullah’s affiliates to be working for Pakistan and having no authority unless the neighboring country allows. It showed readiness for joining peace talks with the government, after that of Haibatullah’s refused peace proposal from the HPC. The high peace council (HPC) has said it would soon start peace talks with Mullah Rassoul group, once the HIA leader’s name was removed from the United Nations sanctions. Although, Pakistan has said peace deal between the government of Afghanistan and its armed oppositions, mainly the Taliban would never remain fruitful unless Pakistan become a broker. Pakistan has time and again arrested those Taliban leaders who showed interest in peace talks with the government, as it only wanted to reach its vicious target.
Mullah Rassoul has said that Pakistan never tolerates a lasting peace in Afghanistan and has always used the Taliban as a means to reach its peace. HPC considers peace talks with the Mullah Rassoul led group good news, as the move would help other armed oppositions join peace process. Meantime, the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan said peace talks door was open and any government armed oppositions could join the process, but besides the international community should impose pressures on the terrorists supporting countries to eliminate terrorist hideouts, particularly Pakistan to give up financing and training terrorists and sending to the regional countries. The security forces have also fought insurgencies across the country, by launching different operation, the most effective and popular one, Shafaq 2, which has inflicted heavy casualties on the government armed oppositions. The Taliban have no choice except joining peace deals with the government, as the Afghanistan international forces would never allow terrorists seek safe asylum in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, the High Peace Council has said that the Mullah Haibatullah led group was working under the order of the neighboring Pakistan would never disobey it, when offered peace negotiations by the government. “All peace efforts with the extremist group would be in vain, unless the rein was released by the Pakistani politicians,” HPC authorities believed. Nowadays, anti-terrorist policies have increased nationally and internationally and the international community is persisting to increase impose sanctions on Pakistan to keep away from financing, training and equipping terrorists and give up its double policy before peace deal with Afghanistan, as experts believes Pakistan deceptively encourage Taliban to join peace talks with the government of Afghanistan, but actually encourage them to oppose. Muallah Rassoul led group has set some conditions to join the Afghan peace process, the most important one setting a timeline for withdrawal of the foreign forces.
