LASHKARGAH CITY (BNA) As many as 15 armed oppositions were killed during air and ground operations carried out by Afghan security forces in southern Helmand province.
The insurgents have been target inside their hideouts in relevant areas of NadAli district of the province within the last 24 hours.
Helmand police office by sending a statement issued BNA, 15 anti-government militias including their three local commanders were killed during the military operations.
Four terrorist hideouts along with all military equipment have been demolished during the operations, the statement added.
Three weapon storages belonged to the rebels have been seized by Afghan security forces, the statement further added.
According to another report, Afghan national police personnel by discovering and confiscating 10 round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Helmand province.
