Program On Journalism Begins By Iran Embassy

Kabul (BNA) The embassy of Iran began a program on journalism in the ministry of information and culture yesterday, BNA reported.
In the five-day program more than 50 journalists and photo journalists from BNA, RTA and state-run newspapers attended where the Iranian professors would teach them.
In his opening remarks Iranian diplomat Dr. Jahan Shahi said that Iran would continue to transfer its experience in the field of media to Afghanistan.
Sayed Musadiq Khalili the deputy to the ministry for information and culture in his address said that media in Afghanistan had made good progress over the past decade, saying today there are more than 70 televisions, 170 radio and hundreds of newspapers in the country.
