Kabul (BNA) A notorious commander of Taliban militants along with his three men were killed in Shindand district, Herat province.
Security officials in the province told BNA, Afghan National Army Commando forces launched a special operation in relevant areas of Shindand district of the province, in which Mullah Ahsan a famous commander of armed oppositions along with his three bodyguards were killed following the operation.
According to the source, the commander has been targeted by ANA Commando forces, while he was involved in organizing of terrorist activities in the district.
Allegedly, there were no casualties among civilians and ANA forces at the end of the operation.
