Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah the executive chief of the unity government of Afghanistan asks the people not to pay attention to the rumors but consider the political agreement and implementing the political process in the country based on the constitution as the main issue.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes Dr. Abdullah the executive chief of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the meeting of council of ministers talking on security situation in the country calling the establishment of an interim government a rumor said the unity government besides experiencing many problems and challenges also has great achievements.
He emphasized that the national unity government tries hard to receive the trust of people. The executive chief claimed that the establishment of interim government emanated from the poor and disease thought of people and is in contradiction to laws of the country.
These statements come in a time, certain circles, and people due to the existing problems and challenges suggest plans and programs that further exhaust the spirit of people. In addition to that other problems such as increasing security problem, deterioration of economic situation of the people have caused the concern of the people and further boosted the incentive of leaving the country, migration and asking asylum.
Dr. Abdullah the executive chief, in the meeting of the council of ministers responding the concern accepted that there are problems and in some occasion, the people are dissatisfied with the government and that indicates the failure of the government, but the unity government will do its best to receive the confidence and trust of the people.
Political experts believe the statement delivered by the executive chief is a response to the rumors to address of national unity government.
The politicians say although a year has passed from the formation of national unity government and caused a great hope among the people, but the deterioration of security and economic situation in the country disappointed the people and led to mistrust among them.
In spite of that the national unity government is seriously started its activities for reconstruction country and counter administrative corruption but the security and economic problems have been remained as the main barriers on the way of implementing the commitments and programs of the unity government.
The politicians also repeatedly have said that the unity government started its career with certain problems. The withdrawal of international troops was completed, the foreign aids remarkably reduced and the Afghans started to defend their country independently. On the other hand, the armed insurgents fully equipped returned to the country for disrupting security and economic situation of the country. Besides that, other regional and international crisis affected Afghanistan’s situation.
For overcoming all above problems, the all sided cooperation of the people has needed. So, the unity government requires the assistance of the people in order to meet their expectations. Abdul Khalil Minawee
