Kabul (BNA) The fact that the role of the media in imparting reliable information is not deniable, however there are some issues in pausing on them we can say that in some cases the name of the Loya Jirga historical traditions of the people are used for political aims.
According to BNA, this issue has been defined in the statement released by the government media center. The statement stresses that some of the pictorial media are publishing the commercial ads from unknown addresses that are containing issues with respect to the security pact of Afghanistan with the US.
The messages and quotations thus released on behalf of some individuals indicate as if the security pact should be signed by President Karzai.
These reveals as if the entire Afghan nation is happy with signing of the security pact so the president should sign it.
While the president of Afghanistan repeatedly stressed that he will sign the pact considering the regional conditions in case the conditions of the Afghan nation are accepted.
These preconditions were set out on the basis of views of the members of the Loya jerga of the people of Afghanistan.
They were people’s representatives at the Loya Jirga who emphasized on the peace restoration in Afghanistan and national reconciliation.
The representatives of the Loya Jirga also noted that an end is put to the irresponsible acts of the international forces in Afghanistan and they asked the Afghan leadership that a definition should be available with respect to the insurgent and insurgency and other such issues.
In case the president of Afghanistan emphasizes on these conditions, he wants to tell the world people that the views of the people’s representatives are being considered and the president never acts against the people’s will about the national and international issues.
Under conditions that bargaining are being continued between Kabul and Washington, publishing of such commercial advertisements can be defined against national interests of the country, for the president has no other aims but realization of the will, desires, welfare and prosperity of the oppressed people of Afghanistan. So it depends on the media not to publish issues that are against the wishes of the people.
