Dr. Sadat Pledges to Address Panjshir MoIC Problems

Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Information and Culture and deputy minister on youth affairs Dr. Kamal Sadat held video conference with Panjshir director of information and culture here yesterday, asking him to spare no effort in serving the people and culture of the country, BNA reported.
According to the agency, hinting to directorate’s upcoming plans, Dr. Sadat said that upcoming year is the youths’ year, asking the director to take serious steps in fighting corruption in the province.
The acting minister went on saying the ministry has plan to conduct four programs within a month on youth access to their rights so that to better know about their privileges and responsibilities.
Ghulam Rasoul Farayeen, Panjshir’s director of information and culture said 70 percent of the directorate’s plan has been implemented in line with MoIC’s general plan, however he called lack of sufficient equipment as the main challenge.
The acting minister vowed to solve the issues through sending a delegation to the province.
According to another report, acting minister of information and culture spoke with Afghan cultural attaché to US through a video conference, asking him to further coordinate the programs with the ministry. The Afghan cultural attaché, Majid Qarar expressed concern over lack of proper plan and sufficient resources, adding despite of problems, cultural programs and meetings were being held with students and university lecturers, aiming to bolster the cultural ties.
