Women Should Seek Their Positions Through Education & Learning Skills In Society, Sancharaki

Kabul (BNA) During a ceremony marking the end of a program ‘Women’s empowerment in Media and starting the second phase of the program’ here in Kabul, the deputy minister of publication Fazel Sancharaki asked women to continue their vocational trainings and add to their knowledge, aiming to increase their role within the society, BNA reported.
Addressing the ceremony which was organized by Afghanistan’s Human Resources Development Agency and the Kilil group, the deputy minister of publication asked women to utilize the training opportunities being provided by the training centers and guarantee their positions in the society.
Meanwhile Fazel Sancharaki asked reporters to consider journalism principles and rule while reporting, as according to him some media lack such standards.
Afghanistan’s Human Resources Development Agency and Kilil group Chairman Najiba Ayoubi called insecurity the biggest challenge before women trainees, saying May women left their duties due to insecurity in some of the provinces.
Shafiqa Habibi head of Afghan Women Journalist Association, Hamid Zazai civil society activist, and two trainees of the program spoke related to the event and enumerated a number of challenges before afghan women activities within the society.
At the end certificates distributed to the 63 women reporters who were holding Bachelor of Journalism degree and recently graduated from the training program.
