MoPH Reports 66 New COVID-19 Cases, 27 Recoveries in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Ministry of Public Health reported Saturday, that out of 170 samples, 66 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 128,643 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 6,367 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 27 individuals have recovered from COVID-19, and 10 individuals are reported dead. The new cases recorded in Kabul are Six, Kandahar 26, Balkh 31, Nimroz One, and Zabul Two.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 43,035, Total deaths are 1,591 and the total recoveries are recorded 35,063.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 53,415,069 and the dead are reported to more than 1,303,293 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
