Kabul (BNA) The main base of armed Taliban was destoryed in Kamo area, Kamdish district of Nooristan province today.
According to the interior ministry press office to BNA, the mopping up operations launched by frontier police, national army commando soldiers and coalition forces in the vicinities of Kamo area of Kamdish district where the main base of armed Taliban is in Nooristan province.
According to the source, the area cleaned from presence of armed Taliban and their base destroyed.
In this operation, 24 armed Taliban including 7 senior commanders of them were killed and the operations still continue.
