Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) In the course of the year, beekeepers of Baghlan province supplied 20,000kgs of honey in bazaar.
Abdul Rab Hamidi head of beekeepers Union of Baghlan province in an interview said BNA correspondent, in spite of the drought disadvantages of climate, beekeepers of Baghlan province were able to sell 20,000 kgs of honey in bazaar this year.
According to Hamidi, currently in Baghlan province, there are four associations and two beekeeping cooperatives in central districts of Baghlan , Khost and Khenjan and are considered as the most important honey production center in Baghlan province.
Head of beekeepers union in Baghlan province said, in addition of four associations and two beekeeping cooperatives, the other 80 families, 160 beehives boxes were donated by Agha Khan Development Fund.
