Kabul (BNA) More than 255 armed oppositions were killed in Helmand province and Sangeen district were completely cleared from existence of armed oppositions.
Sediq Sediqi spokesman of Interior Ministry said BNA, Pakistani militias with cooperation of spy agency of that country entered in Sangeen, Mosaqala, Nawzad and Kajaki districts, of Helmand province and killed innocent civilians and destroyed their houses.
According to Sediqi, the security forces with cooperation of local people managed to kill eight senior commanders of Taliban with 10 of their men and confiscated six suicide vests and 63 mines.
Sediqi said, now Full general Mohammad Ayoobi Salangi senior security deputy of interior ministry is in Sangeen district and directs the operation against armed oppositions in that province.
He added, Sangeen district were cleared completely from presence of armed insurgents and Afghan security forces killed more than 255 oppositions in the district.
