Kabul (BNA) 579 insurgents have been killed in the past 24 hours in attacks by security and defense forces across the country.
Fawad Aman, the Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of National Defense told BNA reporter, in clashes and counterattacks by defense and security forces, 579 Taliban were killed in Nangarhar, Paktia, Khost, Logar, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Jawzjan, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Kunduz, and Panjshir provinces and 161 others were wounded.
