Kabul (BNA) A number of political leaders and figures of the world and region have considered death of the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim as a loss and expressed their sympathy and condolence on this occasion.
Indian Prime Minister Man Muhan Singh has called death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim as big loss, considering his efforts towards establishment of Afghanistan government as unforgettable.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and a number of political leaders of the country have condoled death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, considering him as a Mujahid towards freedom of Afghanistan and expressing sympathy and condolence over the death of Marshal M. Qasim Fahim to Afghanistan government and his family. Meanwhile, US ambassador to Kabul has considered death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim as big loss towards national unity, expressing sympathy and condolence over the death of Marshal Mohamamd Qasim Fahim to Afghan people and his family.
Iranian Embassy to Kabul in a statement offered sympathy and condolence to president and people of Afghanistan, stressing that remarkable role of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim during the past four decades of Afghanistan would be bright and unforgettable. UN office to Kabul in a statement has expressed its deep sorrow over the death of Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim, considering him as a good worker in creating trust for UN. It is worth mentioning that the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim passed away Sunday at the age of 56 in Kabul and was buried yesterday in Kabul.
