Estonian Interior Minister Calls On Dr. Abdullah

Kabul (BNA) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan met yesterday with Estonian minister of interior affairs at Sapidar Palace.
In the meeting, the Estonian interior minister congratulated chief executive post to Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and reiterated his country’s support of Afghanistan.
The Estonian interior minister added his country’s hoped to extend and strengthen its good relations with Afghanistan in various sectors in particular electronic-governance as one of the country’s good experiences.
In his turn, Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan praised Estonia for its support and cooperation with Afghanistan, adding that Afghanistan is considering Estonia as a friendly country and want to extend its relations with her in various sectors. Dr. Abdullah also supported the Estonian’s proposing cooperation with Afghanistan in electronic-governance, promising that practical measures would be adopted for implementation of the program. Both sides also discussed formation of cabinet, security, administrative reforms, reforms in the country’s electoral system, strengthening of armed forces and counter corruption.
