Mazar-e-Sharif City (BNA) An Afghan National Policeman was martyred due to Taliban attack in northern Balkh province.
Abdul Rezaq Qadiri security director of Balkh told BNA, Taliban carried out attack on Afghan security forces checkpoint in Salar Tepa area, Charbolak district of Balkh province and captured the checkpoint for short time, but they faced with full resistance of Afghan security forces and the checkpoint recaptured by security troops again.
Qadiri added, Taliban with using nightfall succeeded to flee from the area and the body of an insurgent named Aminullah was remained at the battlefield.
