Aibak (BNA) 62 kg of opium was discovered and seized by security forces in Samangan province yesterday.
Colonel Mohammad Akram Bekzad police chief of Samangan stated BNA; the officials of anti-narcotic department of Samangan province discovered and seized 62 kg of opium from Aibak capital of that province.
According to the source, the opium was placed skillfully in two bags and to be transfer from Baghlan to Balkh province, discovered by security forces.
According to Bekzad, a resident of the district has been arrested in the connection of the incident.
