Kabul (BNA) At least 36 armed oppositions were killed and 71 others were wounded due to joint operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
According to information of Ministry of Defense (MoD) press office to BNA, the joint military operations were conducted to annihilate armed insurgents and ensure peace, instability and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Logar, Kapisa, Paktika, Paktia, Nangarhar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Herat, Nimroz, Helmand, Sar-e-Pul, Takhar, Kunduz, Balkh and Faryab provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war mobilizations have been discovered and seized during the operations by Afghan troops as well, source added.
