Matoon (BNA) A depot of weapons belong to Taliban militants had been discovered during a special operation led by National Security Directorate (NSD) personnel in Ali Shir district, eastern Khost province the other day.
Hakim Khan Habibi governor of Khost said BNA reporter, Taliban militants wanted to carry out a series of destructive and terrorist activities by the weapons’ depot in relevant areas of Khost province.
74 pistols, 30 Kalashnikovs, dozens various type of weapons, thousands shells of heavy and light weapons have been discovered and seized from the weapons’ depot.
Two members of Taliban militants were arrested accused of the depot keeping too, Habibi added.
