Mustaghni Downplays Remarks of Pakistan’s Advisor On National Security

Kabul (BNA) Ahmad Shekib Mustaghni the spokesman of ministry of foreign affairs has rejected the remarks of Sartaj Aziz the advisor to Pakistan president on national security in which he advocated for giving share to the Taliban in next government as worthless.
Addressing a press conference here yesterday, Mustaghni pointed out that the remarks of Sartaj Aziz about giving share to Taliban in the next government is useless, saying making comments about Afghanistan issues relate to the government and people of this country.
In connection with sending of Afghan refugees to Syrian war by Iran, the spokesman said that “There are reports that some Afghan refugees in order to obtain permanent residence in Iran, are sent by Iran to the war in Syria. He also added that the foreign ministry has tasked the embassy of Afghanistan in Tehran to check the report and present its report to the foreign ministry in Kabul. On the situation of Afghan refugees in Sweden, the spokesman said that the new ambassador of Afghanistan in Sweden would review the situation and discuss the problem of forced deportation of refugees with the Swedish officials. It has merit to mention that the government of Sweden has deported 10 Afghans seeking asylum there.
He also said that the Pakistani army chief of staff General Rahel Sharif arrived in Kabul yesterday and attended a joint meeting of his Afghan counterpart and commander of NATO-led troops in Afghanistan to discuss the security challenges on either sides of the Durand Line.
