President Ghani Expresses Sympathy with Logar’s Martyrs’ Families

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani received the families of the martyrs of the national army personnel who lost their lives recently in airstrike of the coalition troops in Logar, here in Arg yesterday and expressed sympathy BNA reported, . In the meeting also attended by those injured in the incident, the president besides praying for the departed souls wished early recovery for those injured and hoped patience for the victim families to bear the loss. Saying that US officials have expressed regret over the bloody incident, the president said that President Barak Obama during his recent video conference hailed the courage of Afghanistan security forces. The sacrifices of the personnel of national security forces won’t be forgotten, the president said, adding besides naming important places after them, the government would take care of their families for long time.
President Ghani also ordered concerned officials in defense ministry to do their best in providing medical services to the injured security personnel. In order to prevent repetition of such gruesome incident, the president called for more coordination among security organs and the international troops. He also approved one step promotion for martyrs and also provided cash assistance to their families and injured ones. According to another report, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani expressed condolence over the death of Qazi (Judge) Hayatullah Enayat Andarabi and expressed sympathy with his family and the people of Baghlan. Qazi Enayat passed away due protracted illness yesterday. In his condolence message, the president described the late Qazi Enayat as a great personality who served the nation in different capacities, saying his death could be a great loss. The president also wished patience for the grieved family to bear the loss.
