NAC to Reconstruct Hundreds Of Natural Disaster-affected Homes in Paktika

PAKTIKA (BNA) Hundreds of recent natural disaster-affected houses, with full financial cooperation of Norwegian Afghanistan committee will be reconstructed in Paktika.

“Hundreds of recent natural disaster-affected homes, include 165 homes in Urgon, 33 homes in Nika, 87 homes in Gayan, 73 homes in Zerok, 140 homes in Barmal and 67 homes in Sar Hawza districts of the province, worth more than 12.8 million Afghani (some 147,823 U.S. dollars) will be reconstructed by Norwegian committee,” the statement quoted Director of the provincial Disaster Management Authority Mawlavi Matiullah Mansour as saying.

Lately, some devastating quakes have destroyed thousands residential unites and affected tens thousands of people in southeast provinces of the country, in which dozens of humanitarian aid agency deployed their rescue teams to affected sites to provide the people with necessary humanitarian assistance and health care services.
