Torkham Port Reopened

Kabul (BNA) Pakistan ambassador to Kabul in a meeting held yesterday with acting minister of commerce and industries Mohammad Shakir Kargar informed him of reopening the Torkham Port.
Torkham border had been closed for the past two days due to protests of Khyber Pashtonkhwa people.
In the meeting, acting minster of commerce and industries recalled problems of Afghan traders in Pakistan particular Karachi port, asking the Pakistan ambassador to Kabul to make efforts for solutions of the problems through touching with his country’s officials.
Mohammad Sadiq, Pakistan ambassador to Kabul promised to make efforts for solution of the Afghan traders’ problems.
He also added Torkham border has been reopened again, so Afghan traders were able to transit their goods from Pakistan and Afghanistan and from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
It is determined that a trading exhibition of Pakistan will be held in few days in Kabul.
