Heavy Losses Sustained to Taliban in Faryab

Maimana (BNA) 16 armed Taliban rebels were killed during latest clashes by security troops in Faryab province.
The clashes took place in Qaisar and Almar districts of the province yesterday.
A local police commander of the province told BNA, 16 armed Taliban including their three commanders were killed and dozen others were injured.
It is mentionable that there were no harm and casualties incurred to security forces and residents in the clashes.
Another report says that security forces of Faryab province prevented from a series of bloody blasts.
According to reports, the security forces discovered and defused four mines which were planted by Taliban in a crowded areas of the province.
Local officials said that Taliban wanted to organize a series of bloody events, but not succeeded to their evil goals.
