Maimana (BNA) Taliban shadow governor for Pashtoonkot district, Faryab province was killed by security forces last night.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee spokesman for Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA, the Taliban shadow governor with other Taliban insurgents were killed and three others have been wounded in a clash by security forces in Sar-e-Hose village of Pashtoonkot district.
It is said that 15 other Taliban insurgents were killed in Doulatabad and Qaisar districts, Faryab province last night.
