Kabul (BNA) A number of members of a social association named as medical society called on Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh yesterday.
Participants in the meeting by expressing happiness over establishment of high medical council by national unity government considered it as key step towards betterment of standard service delivery in health sector.
He stressed that in consideration to perception of the people’s needs in the country and necessity of standard health services, high health council should run its tasks and responsibilities in the framework of relevant legislative documents so facility of fair access of the people would be provided to services. Members of the association considered activity of Mohammad Ali Jinah Hospital in Kabul’s west as vital for residents of the area stressed on acceleration work and completion of the hospital.
Afterwards, Second Vice President said that high medical council has recently kicked off its work by providing legislative documents and effort has been made that the relevant document would not be against other laws.
According to the second vice president, high medical council’s key task was to oversee and control work of hospitals, doctors and health services providers. He said that for further effectiveness of the council’s work, members of the council were selected from relevant organs.
Vice President also said that start of work process on Mohammad Ali Jinah Hospital located in Kabul’s west and promotion of Dasht-e-Barch 50-bed hospital would be followed by him.
