Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has condoled in a message the demise of the country’s top knowledgeable figure Dr. Abdul Khalil Zarifi, passing away due to a disease he was suffering.
The deceased Zarifi spent more than 35 year of this valuable life in scientific and research activities.
He was a doctor of science and besides scientific researches and writing articles, Dr. Abdul Khalil Zarifi had worked in various posts as director of sports of MoI, director of documents and relations for MoI director of the Ariana encyclopedia for sciences academy, academic secretary for sciences academy, head of arithmetic, physics, technics center, deputy of natural and technical sciences for sciences academy. His services were appreciable and his death was a loss, the message said. In the message, President Ghani extended his condolence and sympathy to the deceased family, colleagues, the country’s ulema and researchers and the people of Kabul, wishing paradise to the deceased and patience to the remained.
