Kabul (BNA) Chief Justice of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Professor Abdul Salam Azimi met yesterday with head of law-enforcement and judicial affairs for US embassy to Kabul Scott Makrof.
In the meeting, Scott Makrof congratulated holding successful elections and considered participation of millions of Afghan people in the elections as big honor for the people and security forces of Afghanistan.
He wished Afghanistan judicial organ further success towards counter corruption and maintaining transparency.
In his speech, he considered work of relevant courts as key in addressing corruption and drugs-related crimes and asserted that enforcing-law sector was ready to widely cooperate in providing professional trainings to judicial organs’ personnel so that they could professionally research, review and address the relevant judicial cases.
