Khost (BNA) The construction work of a national museum started in Khost province yesterday.
The museum will be constructed by information and culture department of Khost province.
In foundation ceremony, Abdul Jabar Naemi governor of Khost said the national museum will be built in the area of six jiribs of land by information and culture department of Khost province at the cost of 4 million Afghanis.
The head of information and culture of Khost called the construction of the museum useful and important in preservation and maintenance of monuments and expressed hoped that authorities to carry out their national duty to preserve monuments.
He also urged the people of Khost province to collaborate with government in keeping of the museum.
