Kabul (BNA) National police in cooperation with other security organizations have killed 36 armed militants during a series of operations over the past 24 hours, interior ministry said in a statement yesterday.
The operations, according to the statement were carried in Farah, Kunduz, Helmand, Ghazni and Khost provinces during which three militants were injured and eight others made captive.
A number of arms and ammunitions including 1300 kg explosive material were also seized during the operations, the statement further said.
According to another report, police at Kabul international airport arrested a man and found fake passport from his possession.
Police also detained a man in Kabul on charge of involvement in killing.
