Kabul (BNA) Dr. Kamal Sadat, Acting Minister of Information and Culture asked the countrywide youths to get mobilized to the volunteers committees operational in the provinces and expected to be extended to the districts as well, BNA reported Sunday.
The youths expected to join the committees would take part in social, cultural and health affairs to could play their part in development of the country, said the acting minister and deputy to the youths affairs of the ministry.
He told Bakhtar News Agency that his office would extend the youths committees to the districts level in a move to welcome the international youths day, with the deadline expected to be marked countrywide as Qaus 15 coinciding December 5. The youths with the Volunteers Committees members would receive cards from the deputy ministry of information and culture to be allowed to attend the national and international conferences, and to be provided with training opportunities through the workshops. Sadat asked the provincial Volunteers Committees chiefs to help the committees get strengthened and advised both young boys and girls to remain the creative force of the country.
