Kabul (BNA) The third of Hoot (21st of February) is a day in contemporary history of Afghanistan when the Afghan nation with empty hands but with incredible bravery and strength of faith uprising against the most aggressive forces of Red Army   the most powerful army of the world accepting huge sacrifices and shedding their bloods defend the independence and dignity of the country.
Political analyst of BNA writes about that heroic and historical event:
On the night of Hoot third 1358 (Afghan calendar) Kabul residents chanting the slogans of Allah- o- Akber (the God is great) expressed their hate and disgust against invaders and their proxy nefarious regime and at the dawn of the day, thousands of people man and woman, youth and elderly people launching a mass march against aggressors and their mercenaries    rushed in to the streets of Kabul that faced with brutal reaction of the aggressive forces who mercilessly martyred and wounded hundreds of people including men, women and children. Although, the hand to teeth armed Red Army troops claimed victory over this heroism but in reality it was a severe blow on occupiers. The Kablis with this heroic move demonstrated that they stand firm against this open and coward aggression and defend the independence and the religious and national values of their homeland, in this way once again proved the victor of blood over the sword.
The Red Army aggression which was associated with intimidation, threat, suffocation and barbarism succeeded not to kill the will and intention of a nation that was ready for every sacrifice  to defend freedom, independence and their national prides and would be never ready to any deal on them.
The satanic ruling system, also with severe brutality reacted against the up risers, mercilessly killed thousands of Kabul citizens or sent them behind the bars of the prisons. The Kabulis rise against aggressors aimed to boost the public revolution against foreign occupation and to inform the international community about the brutalities and tortures the Afghan people sustained from the aggressors and their proxy the ruling regime. The third of Hoot clearly showed the agley face of the then rulers and weakened the political authority of regime and its foreign supporter the Red Army who claimed that they had come to Kabul as part of internationalism aids and the uprising was a heavy blow to evil objectives of the former Soviet Unions dreamed for a long time.
The third of Hoot’s uprising has been recoded as a conspicuous day in the history of Afghanistan and would be an example for upcoming generations, how their ancestors heroically fought foreign aggressions and defend their homeland, freedom and national values. The third of Hoot was really a mass public uprising where the residents of Kabul free of all kinds of discriminations and with complete unity stood against the most horrible force of the time. Now it’s the duty of present and upcoming Afghan generations to know about these devotions and to use them as an example for defending national interests and serving the homeland.
