Kabul (BNA) Following Afghan National Army ANA clearing operations during the past 24 hours, Qaysar, and Alamar districts of Faryab province, have cleaned from existing of armed rebels.
Maj. Mohammad Reza Rezayee ANA press office head told BNA, the clearing operations conducted under the command of ANA forces with participation of National Police, National Security and support of people in the districts, the strategic areas of Almar district have cleaned from being of armed militants.
Source added, in the operations 7 armed insurgents were killed, other fled the site and the area was under the full government forces.
Also in another cleansing operation in Qaysar district 20 villages have been cleaned from presence of Taliban, operation will continue until full clearing of the area from presence of insurgents.
