Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with the US foreign secretary envoy on Afghanistan peace reconciliation, Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad at the President Palace, the Presidential Press Office said Friday.
Both sides exchanged views on the recent changes about peace process and development in the appointment of negotiating team members of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the statement added.
Dr. Zalmay Khalilzad also shared information with the country’s president about his future regional trip for Afghanistan peace, the statement added.
