Farah (BNA) Thirty-Four civilians lost their lives in explosion of a mine in Kandahar-Herat highway.
The event occurred while a bus struck with a planted mine.
Mohibullah Mohib spokesman for Farah security directorate told BNA, the blast occurred in Shoz region, Farahrod District, Herat-Kandahar highway, in which 34 commuters of the 404 bus lost their lives.
Seventeen other commuters of the bus were also injured and shifted to hospitals, said Mohib.
It is said that all victims of the event are civilians including children, women and elders.
