Nearly 600 Afghan Refugees Head Back from Iran: MoRR

KABUL (BNA) Refugees and Repatriations Ministry says 597 Afghan refugees have repatriated back home from Iran on Saturday.

The refugees include 16 families, among 57 people deported forcibly and the rest repatriated back to their country voluntarily, said the Ministry in a statement to BNA.

The repatriates who headed back from Iran country introduced to the International Organization of Migration (IOM) to receive humanitarian assistance, added the Ministry.

In the meantime, the number of repatriates from Iran increased, and thousands of refugees headed back home, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations reportedly says, many refugees were deported forcibly from Iran.
