CE Seeks International Community’s Support To Further Equipment of ANSF

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah who is in New York, in meeting with US Vice President, Joe Biden exchanged views on bilateral relations and stressed for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
In the meeting the chief executive said Afghanistan security forces needs more support of international community in the field of equipment, BNA reported.
CE said that Afghanistan security forces, although are able to cope with terrorist threats, still they need more equip from international community. Vice-President Joe Biden said in the meeting Afghanistan is important for US and Washington would continue to support Afghan national security forces.
According to another report, the chief executive Dr. Abdullah in meeting with Anne Richard the deputy Secretary of State yesterday exchanged views on matters relating mutual interests, BNA reported. In the meeting variety of issues including internally displace Afghans, Afghan asylum seekers abroad and Afghanistan situation were discussed. The Chief Executive said that the government of Afghanistan would spare no efforts to find amicable solution to all problems that Afghans are facing. Meantime, the US diplomat lauded Afghan government programs for the solution of Afghan refugees displaced people. He also added that US would help Afghan refugees, displaced and those returning home.
