Need of Public Awareness Related To Roadside Mines, Explosives’ Danger

Sunday, May 11, 2014 Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Deputy of Publication Affairs for Ministry of Information and Culture and head of high commission’s public awareness pillar for counter explosives and roadside mines Mrs. Simeen Hasanzada, a session of commission of public awareness pillar for counter explosives and roadside mines was held yesterday. First, Deputy of Publication Affairs for Ministry of Information and Culture Mrs. Simeen Hasanzada briefed related to the done activities stressed on increasing public awareness related to the explosive’s dangers. Mrs. Hasanzada said public awareness spots have been broadcast once again through RTA and Afghan people facing with suspicious stuffs should contact 119 police center or a nearby police posts. Mrs. Hasanzada added the commission was deciding to broadcast public awareness spots related to dangers of explosives and roadside mines through RTA, mobile phones billboards this year. Head of high commission’s public awareness pillar for counter explosives and roadside mines asserted holding learning public awareness seminar would be held for school teachers, mosques’ preachers related to dangers of explosives and roadside mines. Meanwhile, the commission is determined to publish and distribute public awareness book previously published in Dari, helping materials to teaching for teachers should also be published in Pashto.
