Charikar (BNA) August 31 is the consolidation day of Pashtun and Baluch people who have been facing many problems in Pakistan and just restoring their rights can end to the problems.
Commenting on the issue BNA commentator writes August 31 as a consolidation day of Pashtun and Baluch people has of great importance for us because Afghans, Pashtun and Baluch in long history have had a common homeland, interests and fate and a common fate determines their future.
Currently Pashtun and Baluch people are facing various discriminations and suffering a lot.
Today the areas where Pashtun and Baluch live are the most undeveloped region in Pakistan in spite of has huge natural resources, unfortunately its people have no access to the underground resources and live in poverty and suffer from numerous economic problems.
Numerous injustice have been done against the rights of Pashtun and Baluch and the areas they live have called in humiliation as tribal areas, alien region and other titles  and intentionally prevented from growth and development. The number of schools in Pashtoonkhaw state in compare to other states of Pakistan is very limited. Specially, this shortage is more serious in tribal areas. The children of the area intentionally deprived from access to modern sciences and technology and there is no any social and economic progress. The people of the area are encouraging in various ways to do illegal activities such buying and selling weapons and drug trafficking.  In addition to that, the tribal areas have changed in to the centers of terrorists and extremists’ circles. The terrorists from other parts of Pakistan and across the world are brought there, trained, equipped, and send to Afghanistan and other parts of the world to carry terrorist attack for killing innocent people and destruction of their properties. The number of seminaries is much more there than other parts of Pakistan. The majority of the seminaries managed by Pakistani intelligence, seemingly, they are religious schools and the students are studying religious lessons but in reality, the students in those seminaries are learning the lessons of terror and extremism and send to Afghanistan for murder and destructions.
Today, the regions where Pashtun and Baluch live are the most insecure, lawlessness and inter-ethnic dispute that are mostly rooted in principle of old colonialism that says divide and rule. To end the problems and access and enjoy the rights the Pashtun and Baluch people should avoid all discriminations and in complete unity fight to achieve their legitimate rights.
Therefore, August 31   can be an incentive for ensuring justice and struggling against tyranny and injustice that currently Pashtun and Baluch are facing. The day a pride day where justice and freedom are valued and the victims of this sacred way deserved to hailed as heroes and respect as martyrs.
