Kabul (BNA) The ANSF have speeded up their operations to strike insurgents.
According to Nangarhar ANSF authorities, the second stage of ANSF vast anti Daesh operation has already started and their strongholds were occupied by Local Police forces to prevent reappearing of Daesh insurgents. Beside these steps, local councils will be set up in Kot and Acheen districts, to solve the locals problems, so that people would not be disturbed and don’t refer their problems except to government officials, to unknown field tribunals. At the same time, international forces have also increased their air strikes against Daesh insurgents and reiterated their support of ANSF. According to MoD authorities, one of the reasons behind ANSF casualties is heavy fighting between ANSF and armed insurgents but the ANSF didn’t let insurgents to occupy their areas despite of decreasing of international forces or repulse ANSF in direct fighting.
Although MoD acknowledges that the ANSF casualties were increased in 2015, 2016 compared to 2014 due to withdrawal of global forces. The ANSF were suffering from lack of essential air forces but today they are equipped that can play every important role in reduction of their casualties. At present the ANSF make combat plans independently and organizes operations. It shows that with passing each day our reliance to the world decreases gradually. Based on media reports, in 2015, the causalities of ANA, ANP reached to 16000 that show a 20pc increase compared to 2014. The commander of US forces in Afghanistan Gen. John Nikolson said that in current year the tactical capability of ANSF improved but beside that their causalities also increased that shows 20pc increase in the six months of current year compared to the same period of last year. But efforts are underway that ANSF would eliminate the insurgents. He added, if the ANSF casualties increased but they have not allowed insurgents to occupy a whole province or create strong barriers against ANSF in direct war.
The ANSF have other achievements including strong strike of Daesh insurgents, that in which hundreds insurgents were eliminated and were threw into the hell. The ANSF did not allow Pakistan to build military installations along the so-called Durand Line. The ANSF inflicted heavy mortality to enemies during their spring offensives. The world is also optimist to ANSF and believes that they have gained capability to settle domestic problems. Efforts are going on to promote their capabilities to repulse threats of the regional countries. Talks are made on ANSF improvement that threats exist from neighboring countries specially Pakistan. Hideouts and sanctuaries of insurgents and their activities in Pakistan cause Afghanistan not to restore reliable peace. If the world community sincerely intends to restore reliable peace and stability, it should make Pakistan to expel armed insurgents from its territory and conclude its support.
