New Girl’s School Building Opened in Kandahar

KANDAHAR (BNA) Kandahar education department says with the construction of this building, nearly thousands of female students created a suitable educational environment

Japan, through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNCHR), has spent $250,000 to build the school.

Kandahar Education Spokesperson Nazar Mohammad Samim told BNA that the new building of Mirza Ahmad Girls’ High School in Kandahar has twelve classrooms, laboratories and libraries, offices, and other needs of an educational center.

The girls’ school opens as the Islamic Emirate announces efforts to finalize the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan.
